About

Hi, welcome to Must Buy Korea.

Must Buy Korea is here to help you figure out what’s actually worth buying, trying, using, and knowing about Korea.

There’s a lot of information about Korea online. Some of it is genuinely useful. Some of it is just hype. And sometimes the small details that actually matter are the hardest to find.

That’s what I want to make easier.

Think of Must Buy Korea as a Korean friend who knows the local context, keeps an eye on what people are actually using and talking about, and tells you the things that are easy to miss.

Here, you’ll find practical guides on:

  • Korean products worth knowing about
  • where to shop and what to look for
  • K-beauty, food, lifestyle, and everyday products
  • travel tools and services that can make a Korea trip easier
  • what’s trending and what may be overhyped
  • what’s worth trying, using, or experiencing
  • useful things to know before spending your money or time

And I won’t tell you everything is amazing just because it’s Korean.

Sometimes the answer is:

“Yes, this is worth it.”

Sometimes:

“You can skip this.”

And sometimes:

“There’s a better option.”

The goal is simple:

Help you understand Korea a little better and make smarter choices about where to spend your money, time, and attention.

How I Check the Details

I’m based in Korea and write for visitors who want practical answers before they travel, shop, or order. For store hours, prices, product names, and transport details, I check official listings and current Korean sources where available. I include a check date and link to the source when those details may change.

If I’ve visited a place or tried a product myself, I say so. Otherwise, I explain what I could verify through research. A listing check and a personal visit are different things, and you should be able to tell which one a guide is based on.

Some posts may contain affiliate links. If you buy or book something through those links, Must Buy Korea may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That does not change how products, services, or options are evaluated.
